I'm not a student or employee of the University of Louisville. Can I use the library databases?

Yes, visitors can access UofL Libraries databases, but only from within one of our libraries.

Additional Info

  • Ekstrom Library: Residents of Kentucky with a valid, state-issued photo ID may request one hour of time on the library's public computers per day in order to access online databases/journals. Visiting scholars (with an institutional ID) may request a login for up to 4 hours per day.
  • Law Library: Some Law Library databases are restricted to Law School faculty and student use, but visitors may access all other databases from any of the Law Library’s public computers.
