Frequently Asked Questions

Alumni are welcome to visit any of the UofL Libraries during our regular hours where they can use many of our databases, get assistance with research, and check out materials (depending on the individual library's policies.)

Borrowing policies:

• Archives & Special Collections: these collections cannot be checked out.
• Art Library: Alumni are welcome to visit the Art Library to use our print collections, but are not able to check out materials from the Art Library.
• Ekstrom Library borrowing policy
• Kornhauser Health Sciences Library borrowing policy
• Law Library does not check out material to the community.
• Music Library borrowing policy
